Start with one asset. Write its purpose, intended interpretation, and one interpretation it must not imply before selecting a production tool.

## 1. Classify the visual

- Audience:
- One thing the viewer should understand:
- Visual type: clinical observation / measured data / teaching model / decoration
- What a viewer could mistakenly infer:

## 2. Specify the science

- Approved reference sources and exact locations:
- Structures that must be present:
- Relationships, orientation, and perspective:
- Labels and definitions:
- Scale / proportions that matter:
- Permitted simplifications:
- Prohibited implications:
- Motion or interaction states and the mechanism each represents:

Before continuing: attach the reference for each relationship that carries the lesson. Mark unsupported details NOT LOCATED rather than asking a generator to fill them in.

## 3. Make an editable draft

- Illustrator / designer:
- Subject reviewer:
- Editable source format:
- AI tasks, tool, and date:
- Material supplied to the tool and permission to use it:
- Text and alternative-text requirements:
- Static fallback:

## 4. Review the teaching claim

For every meaningful state, complete a row. Use a separate row for each correction and keep unresolved issues open.

| Asset version and state | Structure, label, or implied claim | Reference and location | Issue found | Correction needed | Reviewer and actual scope | Status / version rechecked |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | | | | | | |

- Interpretation observed when shown without narration:
- Intended interpretation from the brief:
- Mismatch and revision required:
- Meaning checked without color alone or motion:
- Remaining issues and owners:

If the interpretation differs from the brief or a structure or motion remains unsupported, revise the asset and repeat the affected review. Do not describe planned review as completed.

## 5. Package the context

### Asset register

- Asset name and version:
- Creator and source URL:
- License or written permission:
- Allowed intended reuse:
- Required attribution:
- Changes made:
- Final alternative text:
- Simplifications or limitations displayed with the asset:
- Actual AI contribution statement:
- Final editable file and static fallback locations:
- Final approval owner and scope:
- Correction contact:

Completion check: the final asset is accompanied by its references, allowed reuse, limitations, and review record. Do not reuse it in a new context until that context is covered by its permission and review scope.

This brief is a starting document. It does not establish clinical validity or grant permission to reuse an asset.
